What’s actually happening on GitHub and GitLab.

• Repo counts, stars, the contribution calendar and language mix all come from each platform’s own public API.
• Cached briefly for speed — then refreshed in the background to stay current.
• The Claude usage heatmap is different: there’s no public API for that, so a local agent (pc-monitor) reads Claude Code’s own session logs on this machine and pushes the totals here every few minutes.
